Dr. Özge Yöntem’in hastanın alt yanak bölgesine mikroiğneli radyofrekans uygulaması

What is RF microneedling?

Microneedling radiofrequency, commonly known in Turkish as “golden needle,” delivers radiofrequency energy to predetermined depths in the skin through fine needles. It aims to stimulate a repair response by creating controlled zones of heat in the skin; it is not a laser.

It may be considered for concerns such as acne scars, enlarged pores and uneven skin texture. Needle depth and energy are selected after assessing skin thickness, scar type, the treatment area, previous procedures and the patient's healing history.

  • RF energy delivered to predetermined depths through fine needles
  • A mechanism of action different from laser
  • Planning according to acne scars and textural irregularities
  • Sterile treatment conditions
  • Discussing possible recovery signs in advance
  • Suitability and follow-up determined at examination

What is assessed before the procedure?

Active infection, skin conditions, healing tendency, medications and previous procedures are reviewed. Settings, the treatment area and risks are planned in light of this information.
